Fate and choices. Some may say they're the same. I suppose given the choices others make, you could consider it to play into your own fate. I clickbaited you on the title right?
Ha!
Here's my day.
Work was blah. Super blah. Strange work conditions, lackluster help, very dusty room that agitated my throat, the list goes on.
It ended.
On another note we obtained another work person that rides in with us. He's a very, potent personality. I even dare to use the word abrasive.
I don't do too well with these types of people. Some are better than others, but this one kinda shakes up my mental state a bit. On various matters.
A furrowed brow was my look of choice for most of the day to this point.
Well the three guys here apparently had plans after work with yet another work person. I was not invited. I WAS in the group text however. Not that it was that bad, but still off putting. Little did I know that that would work in my best interest.
A choice of fate if you will.
In 2 primary ways no less.
First I got to pick up my Amazon order from a locker down the road at a Doubletree.
The walk was cold.
But not all too uncomfortable.
I walked around the entire building by somewhat accident.
I almost crashed a party.
I ran into a large stone vase after almost crashing a party,
I saw ducks.
I photographed a lake with fog.
Got my package.
Got my hat complimented on the way out.
Went out the correct way this time.
I now am the proud owner of a new phone case, glass protector, and Batman ring holder.
B. Then a bit later, at around 7:15, my wife happens to mention she saw that Amber Liu was playing in Salt Lake City this very night at 8:00. Oh by the way, if you didn't know, I'm in Salt Lake City currently. Well the online ticket sales were offline, so a call was made.
Tickets were still available.
Caution/Wind
One Uber ride later and I was there.
It, was, FANTASTIC!
First up was a kid named Justice Carradine. Impressive set, just not my style. Next up was Meg & Dia. They were amazing. Awesome energy and stage presence. Lovely vocals as well. I will look them up on Spotify.
And then the headliner herself, Amber Liu.
Wows, just, wows.
So many songs.
So much energy.
Too many signs blocking my view.
But incredible none the less. Pictures and a boatload of videos to come soon. Probably tomorrow.
Even 2 and half encores.
2 AND A HALF!
And nothing but good vibes, encouragement, and really, just love.
Best show I've seen in a long time.
It really was what I needed.
Now I sit here, writing, obviously, ate noodles and vegetables in a buttery garlic sauce, drinking coffee, and scrolling though very boob oriented wallpapers. As one does.
I only realized about halfway through this how the noodle in the title could be misconstrued.
Also Black Clover is weird.
Also also, Star Wars is weird. I still love it, but it's weird, Mainly going off the prequels on that one.
That is all.
For now.
See you on the morrow.
Sexy, thankful, Carpe Dieming.
