Truth and Sequences

This had another name, The Grand Machine.  But time and people change.

Also, I'm about to rape a pie.  Not necessarily in the way you might think.

Then there will be a long pause, so that you might entertain not only the thought, but the action of going to the lobby and getting a snack.  Then words.

Pie and coffee for breakfast.  Mmm.

Diabeetus coffee.

Well then, I guess I just finished Warehouse 13.  That was, interesting.
And it is now 2:30.
Woo!

On to the discussion.

Souls.  Not yet demon nor dark.
I especially wish to play a numbers game.
Coming from a Christian background, souls exist in conscious humans, and upon the inevitability of death~ exist in states of Heaven or Hell.
For ALL of eternity.
Now I think I'll vote purgatory into something we won't consider.  As many might see Purgatory as Earth.  Which may or may not pose the question of is this real life quote unquote.

Ooooh, there's a clock.
http://www.census.gov/popclock/

So if we go from that, there are currently 7,165,780,150ish humans in the world currently.
With a birth every 8 seconds, damn humans, rabbits.
And deaths every 13.
So naturally we expand every minute.
Now of course this doesn't necessarily take into account disasters, war and fighting, and disease.

So taking into account two numbers, the relative and currently estimate age of humans to be around 50,000 years.
And the more recent dating of 195,000, synchronicity bitches.

We have this:
50,000: 18,869,760,000,000 souls to pass judgement.
195,000:  73,592,064,000,000 ya know not a surprising jump of course.

Damn that feather of truth was busy.

And if we continue and add the current world population, as if we all just suddenly died, well, it wouldn't really go up by much, just 7 billion.  Whereas history on an average of a 12 month, 4 week, 24 hour calender has seen anywhere from 19 to 74 TRILLION souls.  That is a lot of floating blue orbs and a handful of Goku's.

So if we go with souls being a thing, would there be an infinite number of them?  Not to say it isn't possible.  Although it seems like souls would tend to recycle.  I mean the universe is big, and who's to say souls don't travel.  Oh wait, were going with Heaven or Hell.  So let's split it down the middle.
Heaven: 9-37 Trillion souls
Hell: Ditto.

Seems crowded.
Of course if they are pocket dimensions, they could technically be limitless space.
But Hell is in the Earth.
At this point it'd be curious to know how much room, if any, a soul would take up.  I mean if you just compress energy enough all you'd really end up with is a super massive black hole right?
Ohh.
Well.

Somebody's looking to divide by zero here.

Now also time plays an interesting factor here.
The oldest current known living person clocks in around 123 years.
That is literally .2 percent of given time, .006 of 195,000
Imagine being a tortoise and seeing twice that amount in a lifetime.

Even better, let's break the Heaven or Hell thing and go with repeating until reaching Nirvana.  At which point you may be able to reenter reality anyway.  Imagine unlocking all your previous memories and experiences through that soul.

Of course what we imagine as defining a soul are our conscious thoughts and activities, so what are we when we are unconscious?  Is our soul dormant?  Or leaves us only to return?

See also: the Earth is accepted to be around 4,540,000,000 years old.  So what's really crazy to think about is the idea that in the relatively small span of 200,000 years, there have been more humans than the life of Earth.

And what does it all come down to?
Internet cat videos
Porn
Fighting amongst ourselves over pitiful things
Raping the planet that has been around much longer than us

And all of this, is why Gurren Lagaan is one of the greatest animes, nay, stories, evar.
