Hi
I'm Deus.
I'm not sure if we've met before.
It is a pleasure I'm sure,
and I always make sure.
::wink::
So, words. They spring around in the ole brainbox. MUSICNAO!!!!1 Eh, you know that kinda works. Shuffle, do your best.
Going back to the task at hand. Thoughts, I like them, like I like proper grammar. Or boobs.
What has brought you here, to this moment in time.
And this moment,
maybe even this one.
Srsly, what decisions, be they yours, or perhaps someone else's, has led you to this, exact, moment.
Now, let's do some research here.
6,973,738,433 Sourced from World Bank in 2011
7,062,208,195 Current world population listed from US Census World Population clock.
What decisions have been made for all those people to have arrived at this point?
I admit, you remember that scene from Donnie Darko where he starts to see his intended thought trail? I kinda wish that was real, and I wish I could see everybody else's. Now one may say, "But Deus, how can you possibly care about everyone else that much?"
First I'd say, "You're a douchebag." Then I would probably describe how I already know how awesome I am so I should really focus on everybody else. So to that end, I'm writing a blog.
Hmm,
dunno if that works like that.
Ohwell.
I also mentioned Origin. Bam, it's like a infomercial.
I have heard many theories in these 27 years I've been around. And there are those who have been around much longer than I. Even those that have been here, gone, and quite possibly come back. And yet our answers are so incomplete.
Let us go over some just plain facts.
We are creatures of light.
We survive best in moderate temperatures, we do not handle extreme temperatures in our regular state. Thus, clothing.
To that end, we have no real physical advantages of any kind versus most, if not all of the animal kingdom. Things with their skeleton on the outside are technically stronger than us.
We've been around for, let's see, 4000, 10000?, maybe even longer years.
And yet we are riddled with critical diseases.
Beyond that, and yes I am talking about the other part of Bed and Bath,
many have theorized that we have a soul. Wouldn't you agree to some point? No matter what you believe, even if you believe in nothing. Or don't care either way. Don't you feel something, Hey, I see you, stop touching yourself! But do you feel you are more than what you are? Is that just circumstantial? A product of our decisions? I've always wondered, if we took a freshly born child, and put them in a room with absolutely nothing and had as little interaction as possible, what would result? But I think some people might find that cruel. And then we'd get into a fight about wars and stem cell research, and we don't want that.
Let's focus a little more on the human condition. So even through evolution, because it does exist, get over it Christians, you would think in a span of Four Thousand Years, we could figure out how to get along with each other. And ourselves, unless something else is at play.
Hold on, getting drink and switching seats, this chair will give me carpal.
Kk.
Getting along with ourselves. Why don't we have a complete understanding of our own bodies? A deep, personal connection with ourselves? What is preventing us? I ask this of you! It cannot just be a personal roadblock. I know this to be truth. Humans have been fooled, time and time again. The past has shown the wealthy to control the world. And what I find funny, is that most normally, it is the uberwealthy that show the most corruption. Sounds like a winning combo doesn't it? So I beg to question, as some might suggest, has there been a point in time that we knew ourselves, and each other so much more than we do now? What changed? I need to perfect the time reading thing.
Origin, I keep wanting to type origing. Sounds kinda like orgying. Hmm.
Christians tend to think that we come from the dust of the Earth and the breath of God. We were supposed to be perfect creations, and then we fucked up. Due to the temptation of a, well to be blunt, a better-perfect creation. That's got it's own facets to it.
But how human right? shift the blame to someone, something else.
Ya know most religions think we were born of the Earth interacting with some celestial being. So we've got some constants here. We seem to have at some point either been, or created on the Earth. Our mother as it were. And then the interaction between a being not of this planet invariably changed the lives of a otherwise probably happy race. So to what ends?
There are theories that we were indeed created. I like these theories, well, I do and I don't.
Genetic manipulation. We know how to do it, and we're a very young race yet. Those with maybe 10's of thousands of years might have a bit of a hand up on us. Nevermind the small matter of faster than light travel. Which is also in the works.
Again, to stretch your mind a little more. What if we came from missing links? Hmm? What if they were our base models, evolved primates. Those up on a slightly higher echelon of poop flinging. Maybe even showing signs of what we consider true intelligence, maybe, shock, speech. Let's say you showed up, wanted to harvest some stuff from the planet, but didn't want to do it yourself. Lazy alieums. Well throw a gene swapping party and what do you get? Workers that are smart enough to take orders, even dish out orders to others, but not smart enough, or capable of revolt. Genius! They could even create art! Now to an ancient astro-wait a sec, this isn't the HisLIEStory channel. All I'm sayin, Christopher Columbus was a dick. A terrible person, and to really balance things out, we need a Hitler day. At least Hitler united people. They were just sick in the head people. Sallgood.
But to these creatures, what was the harm in creating a semi-sentient race of beings that just so happened to be kind of broken? Let's go back to the manipulation. Splicing creates errors, in the form of disease. Why would they want to take those out? Give it some time, shake well, and you have all the problems that plague us today. Why do we have cancers, aids, diabetes, blood clots, aneurisms? Why should we have those things? We should have a self diagnostic mode. Able to understand and correct ourselves. But we don't. We we never meant to. But we're starting to, maybe again.
Let's say these events happened, about 500,000 years ago. We are indeed talking the times of Chinese warlords. Now 500,000 is a large number. Would you like 500,000 dollars? I bet you would. But now 500,000 is really nothing compared to 2,000,000 or 3,400,000,000. That last one is the supposed oldest bacteria fossil found on Earth. Now that's pretty old. You would have one hell of a beard if you were 3 billion and 400 million years old. And yet you still wouldn't beat Chuck Norris. Stop trying.
So again, they arrive to this pristine planet, semi-sentient creatures strewn about luckily from perhaps a chance collision in the past, do some tinkering, make some rather smart, if maybe not well dressed creatures. But of course they need them for labor. Gold and whatnot, mining, so they gotta be big. Giant even one might say. Think snoosnoo. Well, it's been a fun 2,000 years guys, they grow up so fast don't they? BYE! They leave. They leave these new, misshapen, almost, unearthly creatures on a planet that may not want to make friends.
That's ok, because like the true humans we are, we continued that fight even though the Earth finally gave in and hugged us with all her might.
Ok enough human douchebaggery.
Now this span of 498,000 years until now. Interesting, what could happen in that time?
Epic staring contest?
Epic, masturbating contest?
EpicMealTime?
Let's say the conditions of the planet become, well, less than ideal. We don't have the constant backing of a powerful creator being anymore. We gotta fight for ourselves. Our numbers thin, our abilities weaken. We retain our minds. That is our saving grace. Still is today. You ever stand outside in the cold with nothing on? Damn right, you don't, you put some boxers on and run around the street. If you didn't know, or notice, we don't have body hair, not like primates at least. Wolfboy aside.
So again, those first, couple thousand years were pretty rough on this new creature. But somewhere along the line of them barely clinging to life, they got some help. Maybe even lots of help, some hindrance maybe, from some more outsiders. Maybe they, "Showed them the way" Let's say they were doing really good. REALLY good. So good in fact, they made up for their flaws. At least on the road to that. But something went wrong. Brb, pee break.
*12,000 to 10,000 years ago. That's what went wrong. Well, when at least. I mean seriously, we made some damn good progress in those 486,000 years! Come on! And now, we are playing catch up. On a clock that may or may not be our friend. For sure, those in power are not our friends. We have evolved into something else. With influence again, from those outside of our planet, outside of our of conscious thought. *Sorry, figured I'd get something a little off, I am kinda adding a lot of theories together. Not 12 to 10,000, about 65,000, but still, a good run of 433,000. Good run.
And now we are here. Jump past those 65,000 years and you end up on today. This moment. In this wonderful illusion we know as time. A curse of our condition I'm sure. What went down in those meager 65,000 years. There are descriptions. Explanations. If you're willing to listen to them. But as it is with everything, question. Question all. Don't blindly accept anything. And to think we have been divine this entire time? HA, just looking at how we have turned out now proves that to be false. We haven't always been in sync with, again, ourselves, each other, or the planet. And we sure as hell haven't been doing too good on that lately. It is time for change. From literally this moment forward.
Well, now that that's out of my system, it's time for a long awaited conversation with my budget. I hate it when it chastises me.
Stay lucid my lovers.
Sexy, away!
To cut back in. I feel as though we need to discuss the soul. But I don't think I'll start that yet. The budget is being impatient.
To cut in, again. SCIENCE! Not only have they literally found a way to prevent aids, they have made DNA data!
God Particle!
Bah!
Leaving!
